This custom design project in the Tarrytown area of Austin embodies a careful integration of form around protected heritage trees on the lot. Similar to many of our designs, the house features a rooftop terrace with views of the lake. The main living area is situated on the second level to maximize these views. Additionally, a complete studio apartment is incorporated for long-term guests. To preserve the integrity of the protected trees, the house includes a pool positioned beneath it, keeping clear of the critical root zones.
