Chalk Bluff

A bespoke residential project near Crystal Falls in suburban Austin presents a unique challenge with its steeply sloped lot dropping off at the street level. Our task was to create accommodations for guests arriving by car at street level while also capturing the picturesque view down a beautiful valley. The solution involved designing a three-story house: the lowest level houses the garage and kids' rooms, the second level comprises the entry, primary bedroom, and the main living, dining, kitchen, and study areas, while the third level includes an additional bedroom, game room, and a rooftop terrace.
